Northrop Instrumental Music Program

Congratulations to the St. Paul's String Ensemble on a Gold at State ISSMA Solo and Ensemble Contest. Members are Staci Turner, Malcolm Grayson, Adriana Gehman, Courtney Hermann, Rema Addrayie, Trey Wenger, Alison Kwolek, Ainsley Paton,
Caitlin Coulter, and Jesse Gaze.

String students are in two classes split by grade level. The freshmen and sophomores have daily string instruction in Underclassmen Orchestra while the juniors and seniors rehearse Monday and Wednesday as strings but are grouped with the winds, brass and percussion on Tuesdays and Thursdays to create a full orchestra. Most Fridays the strings work on small ensemble music in a variety of groups. The orchestra performs on the Fall Kick-off concert, the Yuletide Concert in December, the March Concert and on the Spring Pops Concert in May
