Jason Witzigreuter

Jason Witzigreuter is a 1993 graduate of Snider High School and a 1998 graduate of Ball State University.  Jason is in his eleventh year of teaching and in his second year at Northrop High School.

Prior to his time at Northrop, Jason taught band and choir at
East Side Middle School in Anderson, Indiana, 6-12 band for the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and 6-12 band at Angola High School and Angola Middle School.

At Northrop, Jason teaches the Freshman Band, Varsity Band, Concert Band, the Big Orange Pride Marching Band, Jazz Band 1, Jazz Band 3, Charisma Orchestra, and the Shawnee Middle School after school Jazz Band.

Jason is married to Dani and they have two children, Cameron and Samantha.

  

Holly Lofland
Colorguard Director

Holly Lofland is a 1999 Graduate from Northrop High School, where she spent 4 years as a member of the BOP Color Guard. She is a 2001 graduate of Johnson Bible College and is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services at IPFW.

Holly is entering her 5th season as the Color Guard Director at Northrop High School. During the last five seasons the Northrop Color Guard has taken several Visual and Auxiliary captions at marching competitions and have rejoined the IHSCGA competitive circuit with great success.

They have earned many Silver and Gold ratings and have won several contests during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. In her spare time, Holly enjoys movies, painting and drawing, and musical theater.

Bruce Schneider Percussion Director

Bruce Schneider is a 1982 graduate of Northrop High School and a 1988 graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music. In 2009, Bruce returned to Northrop as percussion director of the Big Orange Pride and Northrop Indoor Percussion Ensemble.

He is a former member of the Pride of Cincinnati Drum and Bugle Crops and the Royal Lancer's Senior Drum and Bugle Corps. Bruce has served as percussion instructor and arranger for Tippecanoe Valley High School, Bishop Dwenger High School, New Haven High School, Snider High School, and Fort Wayne North Side High School.

Bruce also serves as percussion director and arranger for Bluffton High School. Bruce is currently the operations manager for Gator Cases-XL Specialty Percussion Division. Bruce is married to Dawn and they have five children, Brandi, Heather, Casey, Andrew, Hailey, and granddaughter Kherington.
